Much of the association's work is carried on by committee.  In 2001, the association established three subject area committees to strengthen its programs.  The areas where these committees work are:
  • Surface and Ground Water
  • Regulation and Administration
  • Watersheds

Committed to education, the association has established a scholarship to further the work of a student whose work promises to contribute to the ideals of the association.
